The Ryerson school ranking represents an opinion of ours based on hundreds of hours of research with the end-goal of determining where the “best” schools in the Toronto area are FOR young families.

Every other Ontario real estate website uses the “Fraser Institute rankings”, but these rankings can pose many problems for young families. Our rankings are far more integrated with the consistency and the “teacher support” a school receives – both HUGE factors – as well as EQAO Performance.

Ryerson EQAO Performance & Consistency (2020)

The EQAO performance for Ryerson is recorded each year at SusiHomes and turned into the figures like the example you see to the left. These become the EQAO calculations used to determine our final annual rankings. A “consistency number” is then assigned to Ryerson based on how dependable the school has been over the last seven years, and then all numbers are mixed with Teacher Support (below) before producing a final ranking.
